Know Your Rights

You do not have to face management alone. If you are called into a meeting that you reasonably believe could lead to discipline, ask for union representation before the meeting continues.

Be clear and direct: “If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, I respectfully request that my union representative be present.”
